Just a stone's throw from the bustling port city of Haiphong, Cat Ba emerges as an unspoiled paradise, brimming with captivating wonders both above and below the cerulean waters. Let's explore unique and interesting destinations on this island together with congaitoiblog to see what has changed, shall we?. When we arrived at Cat Ba was in late April 2024. Cat Ba will have some differences from the information you may have previously known through social media, the press, and travel websites. I'll let you know in this article.

We need to go to Cat Ba Town first to find a homestay or hotel to stay here. Cat Ba Town is where most tourists stay when they come here. Cat Ba Town is the center of Cat Ba Island, where many restaurants, hotels, and beaches are located.

4. Monkey Island, also known as Pineapple Island
In April 2024, I couldn't visit Monkey Island because it was announced that the government had reclaimed and demolished all tourist areas on the island to replant trees, restore natural forests, preserve the ecological environment, and conserve biodiversity for Cat Ba National Park, the Biosphere Reserve, and especially Lan Ha Bay area. According to an unreliable source, visiting Monkey Island will be much more difficult and expensive than before because you have to register and get permission; otherwise, you may encounter serious problems.

Despite many differences from before, Cat Ba remains a favorite destination for many travelers who love to explore the pristine nature of the limestone island complex and the clear, cool waters of the bays.
